Knapp Wrapped 2024: Harvest Highlights and Toast-Worthy Moments

As the year winds down, we're taking a moment to celebrate a phenomenal 2024 at Knapp Winery. From early mornings in the vineyard to late evenings in the tasting room and all the time between, the 2024 season was one for the books. Here's a look back at all the milestones and memories we shared with you all.

98 barrels of wine were crafted with care and expertise.
16 varietals flourished in our vineyards this year.
2 exciting new wines joined our lineup: the 2023 Dry Rosé and the 2024 Vidal Blanc Ice Wine.
Knapp wines were shipped to 39 states, spreading Finger Lakes love across the country.
117 new wine club members joined our community of friendly, fun wine enthusiasts.

• **10 medals** at the NY Wine Classic

On the Vineyard

Harvest season brought its usual mix of early mornings, long days, and, yes, a few hiccups. Here’s the scoop on significant dates and totals!

Knapp Winery Harvest Team — **January 17:** Ice Wine harvest began.
**August 29:** Main harvest kicked off with Siegerrebe.
**October 16:** Final day of harvest.
**Every Day:** How often it feels like vineyard machinery goes awry (#it’sfine).
**97:** Total tons of grapes received, with 55 tons sold to other wineries.
8: Number of wineries that received fruit from Knapp this year.
**21:** Number of wine lots (8 wines will be made from these lots!).

Knapp Winery Hammie — And let’s not forget **Hammie & Charlotte, our unofficial mascots**, who ran the show every single day (or so they’d like to think).

& In the Tasting Room

If you visited the tasting room this year, you probably noticed the fresh coat of paint and reorganization that created a cozy and inviting space to enjoy our wines. It’s the perfect setting for our most popular Celebration Flight, which showcases Knapp Brut Sparkling, Dry Rosé, Saignee Rosé, Barrel-Aged Chardonnay, Cayuga White, and Limoncello liqueur.

Knapp Winery Tasting Flights — We were thrilled to host a lineup of incredible live performances—every Saturday from April to November—that elevated the tasting room atmosphere.

Speaking of new creations, we have a secret to share with you. Our first bottlings of 2025 will be Dry Rosé and Saignee Rosé in February!

A Special Milestone

**3 Years:** This December 9 marks three years since Cole and Karen took the reins at Knapp Winery. Their passion and dedication continue to shape every sip and every moment we share.
