Forte Bianco: A Decadent Dessert Wine with Surprising Ways to Indulge

Attention dry wine drinkers--this beautifully crafted dessert wine will change how you feel about sweet wines. With sweet, silky notes of melon and guava, Forte Bianco is a delicious post-dinner sipper best served chilled.

Another way to enjoy? Soak fresh local peaches with Forte Bianco overnight for a delicious peach crisp unlike any other. Start by slicing and peeling your peaches. Pour the wine over the peaches until covered. Refrigerate and soak overnight.  Then you are ready to serve over ice cream or peach crisp.


Forte Bianco Peach Crisp Recipe

This recipe uses peaches that have been soaked overnight in Forte Bianco wine by Knapp winery. Start by placing your peeled and sliced peaches in a bowl. Pour the wine over the peaches and let soak overnight.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/8 tsp nutmeg

4 Tbls butter

4 peaches (or more) soaked in Knapp Forte Bianco wine

Directions:

Butter microwave safe baking dish. Mix flour, oats, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cut in butter. Put peaches soaked in wine in baking dish. Top with mixture. Microwave (high power) for 10 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
